Description

This Cranberry Jalapeño Cream Cheese Dip blends the tart bite of cranberries with the spicy heat of jalapeños and the creamy richness of whipped cream cheese. It’s a festive, vibrant dip perfect for holiday parties, potlucks, or any gathering where you want to impress with bold flavors and easy prep.

Ingredients

12 oz fresh cranberries

1 cup granulated sugar

12 jalapeños, finely diced (adjust to taste)

1/4 cup chopped green onions

1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro

16 oz cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Add cranberries to a food processor and pulse until finely chopped, not pureed.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine cranberries, sugar, jalapeños, green onions, cilantro, lemon juice, and salt. Stir well.

3. Cover and refrigerate the cranberry mixture for at least 30 minutes (up to overnight) to allow the flavors to blend.

4. After marinating, use a fine mesh strainer to drain any excess liquid from the cranberry mixture.

5. In a shallow serving dish or pie plate, spread the softened cream cheese into an even layer.

6. Spoon the drained cranberry mixture over the cream cheese and gently spread it to cover the surface evenly.

7. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Serve chilled with crackers, crostini, or sliced veggies.

Notes

Let the cranberry mixture marinate at least 30 minutes to soften and enhance flavor.

Make sure to fully drain the cranberry topping to avoid a watery dip.

Soften cream cheese to room temperature for easy spreading and smooth consistency.
