Description

A decadent pasta dish featuring juicy chicken, tender linguine, and a rich cowboy butter sauce with garlic, herbs, and a touch of spice.

Ingredients

2 chicken breasts

12 oz linguine

6 tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tsp paprika

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes

2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped

1 tbsp fresh chives, chopped

2 tbsp lemon juice

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Salt to taste

Black pepper to taste

Instructions

1. Season chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika. Heat 2 tbsp butter in a skillet and sear chicken until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

2. Boil linguine in salted water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water, then drain.

3. In the same skillet, melt remaining butter. Add garlic, paprika, and red pepper flakes. Stir until fragrant.

4. Return chicken to skillet. Add cooked linguine, lemon juice, and a splash of pasta water. Toss to coat.

5. Stir in fresh herbs and Parmesan. Serve hot.

Notes

Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor.

Adjust red pepper flakes to your preferred spice level.

Reserve pasta water—it helps the sauce cling to the pasta.
