Description

Chopped Cheeseburgers are the perfect bite-sized version of your favorite classic cheeseburger. With juicy seasoned ground beef, gooey melted cheese, and toasted slider buns, these are great for game days, quick dinners, or party platters. Easy to prep ahead and guaranteed to satisfy every cheesy craving.

Ingredients

1 pound ground beef

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

12 slider buns

½ cup finely chopped onion (optional)

½ teaspoon garlic powder

½ teaspoon onion powder

½ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon black pepper

3 tablespoons butter, melted

12 pickle slices (optional)

Instructions

1. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until fully browned and crumbled. Drain any excess grease.

2. Add garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to the beef and stir well to season.

3. Lower heat to low and add shredded cheddar cheese. Stir until cheese is fully melted and coats the beef evenly.

4. Slice the slider buns in half horizontally, keeping them connected. Place the bottom halves in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.

5. Spoon the cheesy beef mixture evenly over the bottom buns. Add optional pickle slices if desired.

6. Place the top halves of the buns over the beef layer. Brush melted butter over the tops.

7. Cover the dish with foil and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 12 minutes. Remove foil and bake for another 5 minutes until the tops are golden.

8. Let cool slightly, then cut into individual sliders and serve warm.

Notes

Toast the bottom buns for 2 minutes before adding the beef to avoid sogginess.

You can use American cheese, pepper jack, or Monterey Jack instead of cheddar.

For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños or a dash of hot sauce to the beef mix.
