Ingredients

2 cups cooked chicken breast, diced

1 box (6 oz) stuffing mix

1 cup frozen peas

1 cup chicken broth

1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese (optional)

1/4 cup butter, melted

1/4 cup chopped parsley (optional for garnish)

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the stuffing mix with melted butter and chicken broth. Stir until the stuffing is well moistened. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, mix the cooked chicken, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, milk, and frozen peas. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish and spread the chicken mixture evenly across the bottom.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese on top (if desired), then layer the prepared stuffing mixture over the top.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and crispy.
  7. Optionally, sprinkle with chopped parsley before serving.
