These Chewy M&M Cookies are everything you want in a sweet treat—soft centers, slightly crisp edges, and colorful bursts of chocolate candy in every bite. Perfect for celebrations or cozy nights in, they’re quick to make and even quicker to disappear!


Ingredients

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 cup unsalted butter, softened

3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg

2 teaspoons vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups M&M candies


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the softened butter with brown and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt.
  5. Gradually mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in the M&M candies with a spatula.
  7. Scoop dough balls onto baking sheets, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 9–11 minutes until edges are golden and centers are slightly underbaked.
  9. Let cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
