Ingredients
2 large chicken breasts
1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
1 tablespoon olive oil
8 ounces bowtie pasta
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 tablespoons butter
1 cup heavy cream
1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
Salt, to taste
Black pepper, to taste
Instructions
1. Pat chicken dry and rub with Cajun seasoning.
2. Heat olive oil in a skillet and sear chicken for 5–7 minutes on each side until cooked. Remove and slice.
3. In a pot, boil salted water and cook bowtie pasta until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water and drain.
4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant.
5. Pour in heavy cream and whisk. Gradually add Parmesan and mozzarella, stirring until melted.
6. Add the pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Loosen with pasta water as needed.
7. Top with sliced chicken and sprinkle with Italian seasoning. Serve hot.
Notes
For extra smoky flavor, grill the chicken instead of pan-searing.
Freshly grated cheeses melt better and create a smoother sauce.
Reserve some pasta water—it’s your best trick for silky sauce!
