Description
This creamy Caramel Apple Dip is a rich, velvety treat made with brown sugar, butter, and sweetened condensed milk. Perfect for apple slices, pretzels, or marshmallows, it’s an easy-to-make dip that brings cozy sweetness to any gathering.
Ingredients
1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
Optional: 2 tablespoons toffee bits or sprinkles for garnish
Instructions
1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and stir in the brown sugar. Stir continuously until the sugar is fully dissolved and begins to bubble.
2. Lower the heat and add the sweetened condensed milk. Stir constantly until the mixture thickens and becomes glossy.
3. Remove from heat and mix in the vanilla extract and salt until smooth.
4. Allow the dip to cool for 5–10 minutes before transferring to a serving dish.
5. Top with toffee bits or sprinkles and serve with sliced apples or your favorite dippers.
Notes
Stir constantly while cooking to prevent burning or clumping.
Use unsalted butter to control the overall salt level in the dip.
Dip pairs best with tart apples like Granny Smith for a sweet and tangy combo.
