Perfect for busy cooks looking for an easy recipe, party appetizer, holiday food idea, or quick dinner side. Great for game day snacks, kid-friendly meals, or even as a fun dinner idea paired with rice or bread.
Ingredients
1 lb kielbasa sausage, sliced into ½-inch rounds
1 cup brown sugar
¾ cup ketchup
2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
1 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
Instructions
1. Slice kielbasa into thick ½-inch rounds.
2. In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, ketchup, mustard, garlic powder, and red pepper flakes until smooth.
3. Add kielbasa to the slow cooker and pour sauce over the top.
4. Stir gently to coat all pieces evenly.
5. Cover and cook on LOW for 3–4 hours, stirring occasionally to avoid sticking.
6. Once sauce thickens and clings to the bites, switch to “keep warm” or transfer to a serving dish.
7. Garnish with chopped parsley and serve with toothpicks.
Notes
For extra flavor, add a splash of bourbon to the glaze before cooking.
If you’re in a rush, this recipe also works on the stovetop—just simmer gently for 30–40 minutes.
Garnish with fresh parsley or green onions for a pop of color and added freshness.
