This bold and comforting one-pan meal features tender Cajun-seasoned steak bites paired with creamy garlic cheese pasta shells. It’s a hearty dish that brings both flavor and indulgence in every bite—perfect for an easy but impressive dinner.

Ingredients

1 lb steak (top sirloin or ribeye), cut into cubes

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)

1 tbsp olive oil

2 tbsp unsalted butter

3 garlic cloves, minced

8 oz small pasta shells

1/2 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup milk

1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese

Salt, to taste

Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Toss steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, olive oil, and a pinch of salt.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak for 2–3 minutes per side. Set aside.
  3. Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
  4. In the skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant (1 minute).
  5. Stir in heavy cream and milk. Slowly add cheddar and parmesan, stirring until smooth.
  6. Mix in pasta shells, using reserved water as needed to loosen the sauce.
  7. Simmer 2–3 minutes until creamy.
  8. Plate pasta with steak bites. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
