This bold and comforting one-pan meal features tender Cajun-seasoned steak bites paired with creamy garlic cheese pasta shells. It’s a hearty dish that brings both flavor and indulgence in every bite—perfect for an easy but impressive dinner.
Ingredients
1 lb steak (top sirloin or ribeye), cut into cubes
1 tbsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
1 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
3 garlic cloves, minced
8 oz small pasta shells
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup milk
1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
Salt, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Toss steak cubes with Cajun seasoning, olive oil, and a pinch of salt.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and sear steak for 2–3 minutes per side. Set aside.
- Cook pasta shells in salted boiling water until al dente. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup pasta water.
- In the skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant (1 minute).
- Stir in heavy cream and milk. Slowly add cheddar and parmesan, stirring until smooth.
- Mix in pasta shells, using reserved water as needed to loosen the sauce.
- Simmer 2–3 minutes until creamy.
- Plate pasta with steak bites. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
