Ingredients

2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

8 oz linguine pasta

2 tbsp butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

1 tbsp Cajun seasoning

1 tsp paprika

1 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley


Instructions

1. Pat chicken dry and cut into cubes. Season with Cajun seasoning, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let marinate for 10–15 minutes.

2. In a hot skillet, add olive oil and 1 tbsp butter. Sear chicken until golden and fully cooked. Set aside.

3. Cook linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1 cup pasta water. Drain.

4. In the same skillet, melt the remaining 1 tbsp butter and sauté garlic until fragrant.

5. Pour in heavy cream and whisk. Add parmesan and stir until smooth. Adjust with pasta water for desired consistency.

6. Add linguine into the sauce, toss to coat, then return the chicken to the skillet. Combine well.

7. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half-and-half for the heavy cream.

To intensify Cajun flavor, double the seasoning and add a dash of cayenne.

Use freshly grated parmesan—not pre-shredded—for a smooth, creamy sauce.
