Ingredients

1 lb boneless chicken breasts

2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning

8 oz spaghetti

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

4 garlic cloves, minced

1 cup heavy cream

1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)


Instructions

1. Pat chicken breasts dry and season both sides with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Let rest at room temperature.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken 4–5 minutes per side until fully cooked and blackened. Remove and rest.

3. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve some pasta water, then drain.

4. In the same skillet, reduce heat and melt butter. Sauté minced garlic until fragrant.

5. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Whisk in mozzarella and Parmesan until smooth.

6. Add drained pasta to the sauce and toss until fully coated. Use pasta water to loosen if needed.

7. Slice rested chicken and serve over pasta. Garnish with parsley if desired.

Notes

For extra heat, sprinkle crushed red pepper or cayenne on top before serving.

If sauce thickens too much, add a splash of reserved pasta water or extra cream.

Let the chicken rest before slicing to lock in juices and keep it tender.
