Ingredients
1 (3 to 4-pound) Butterball boneless turkey breast
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon dried thyme
1 teaspoon dried rosemary
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon black pepper
1 cup chicken broth
Instructions
1. In a small bowl, combine softened butter, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, thyme, rosemary, salt, and black pepper to make a paste.
2. Pat the turkey breast dry with paper towels. Rub the seasoned butter mixture over the entire surface of the turkey.
3. Place the turkey breast into the Crockpot. Pour chicken broth into the base of the Crockpot (not over the turkey).
4. Cover and cook on LOW for 5 to 6 hours, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
5. Remove turkey and let rest for 10 minutes. Slice and serve with pan juices or make a quick gravy with the broth.
Notes
Let the turkey rest before slicing to retain moisture.
Always use a meat thermometer to avoid overcooking.
For added richness, make gravy with the leftover broth.
