Description
These Big Mac-Inspired Rice Paper Rolls are a fresh, fun twist on the classic burger, wrapping seasoned ground beef, crisp lettuce, cheddar cheese, pickles, and a creamy Big Mac-style sauce in delicate rice paper. Light, crave-worthy, and perfect for appetizers or party snacks.
Ingredients
200g ground beef
½ cup shredded cheddar cheese
¼ cup diced pickles
1 cup shredded lettuce
¼ cup finely chopped onion
8 rice paper wrappers
½ cup Big Mac-style sauce (mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish, paprika)
Instructions
1. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium heat. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Once cooked, drain excess fat and let cool slightly.
2. Chop the pickles and onion finely. Shred the lettuce and prepare the cheddar cheese. Mix the Big Mac-style sauce in a small bowl.
3. Fill a shallow dish with warm water. Dip each rice paper wrapper for 10–15 seconds until soft but still slightly firm.
4. On a clean surface, layer lettuce, beef, cheese, pickles, and onion at the center of each wrapper. Drizzle with a little sauce.
5. Fold the bottom over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly. Repeat with the remaining wrappers.
6. Arrange the rolls on a plate and serve with extra sauce on the side for dipping.
Notes
Use only lightly warmed water for softening rice paper to avoid tearing.
Assemble just before serving to keep the rice paper fresh and firm.
For extra flavor, mix some diced jalapeños or spicy mayo into the filling.
