Description

This comforting dish combines rotini pasta with hearty ground beef, all tossed in a luscious garlic parmesan cream sauce. Rich, savory, and easy to make, it’s a weeknight dinner that feels gourmet without the fuss.

Ingredients

1 lb ground beef (80/20 for flavor)

12 oz rotini pasta

2 tbsp olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 cups heavy cream

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup beef broth (low sodium)

1 tbsp flour (optional, for thickening)

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)

1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rotini pasta until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Remove beef and set aside.
  3. In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic in olive oil for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
  4. Add beef broth, bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan, whisking until melted and smooth.
  5. Optional: Stir in flour to thicken the sauce slightly.
  6. Return cooked beef to the pan. Stir in the rotini and toss to coat with sauce. Add pasta water if needed to loosen.
  7. Add Italian seasoning if using. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  8. Serve hot, garnished with parsley and freshly cracked pepper.
