This comforting dish combines rotini pasta with hearty ground beef, all tossed in a luscious garlic parmesan cream sauce. Rich, savory, and easy to make, it’s a weeknight dinner that feels gourmet without the fuss.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (80/20 for flavor)
12 oz rotini pasta
2 tbsp olive oil
4 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups heavy cream
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1 cup beef broth (low sodium)
1 tbsp flour (optional, for thickening)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
1 tsp Italian seasoning (optional)
1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley (for garnish)
Instructions
- Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Cook rotini pasta until al dente. Drain and reserve 1/2 cup pasta water.
- In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium-high heat until browned. Season with salt and pepper. Remove beef and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic in olive oil for about 1 minute, until fragrant.
- Add beef broth, bring to a simmer. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan, whisking until melted and smooth.
- Optional: Stir in flour to thicken the sauce slightly.
- Return cooked beef to the pan. Stir in the rotini and toss to coat with sauce. Add pasta water if needed to loosen.
- Add Italian seasoning if using. Taste and adjust seasoning.
- Serve hot, garnished with parsley and freshly cracked pepper.
