Description

This Bang Bang Salmon recipe features tender baked salmon fillets coated in a creamy, spicy-sweet sauce made from mayo, sweet chili, sriracha, and garlic. It’s a perfect balance of heat, richness, and zesty flavor, finished with a broiled caramelized glaze and fresh herb garnish.

Ingredients

4 salmon fillets (about 6 oz each)

1/3 cup mayonnaise

1/4 cup sweet chili sauce

1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lime juice

1 tablespoon olive oil

2 green onions, chopped

2 tablespoons fresh cilantro or parsley, chopped

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, sriracha, garlic, and lime juice. Adjust spice to taste.

2. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line a sheet pan with foil.

3. Pat salmon fillets dry and place in the dish. Brush half of the sauce over each fillet.

4. Bake for 12–15 minutes, depending on thickness, until the salmon flakes easily.

5. Switch to broil, brush on remaining sauce, and broil for 2–3 minutes until caramelized.

6. Garnish with green onions and fresh herbs. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a crispier edge, bake on a foil-lined sheet pan and broil closer to the flame.

You can prep the sauce a day ahead and refrigerate to save time.

This sauce also works great with shrimp, tofu, or grilled chicken.
