Ingredients
2 lbs crab legs (king crab or snow crab)
½ cup unsalted butter, melted
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon paprika
1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)
1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
1 tablespoon lemon juice
Salt and black pepper to taste
Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). If using frozen crab legs, thaw them first. Cut along the shells to expose some of the meat.
- Prepare butter sauce: In a small saucepan, melt butter over low heat. Stir in garlic, paprika, Old Bay seasoning, cayenne pepper (if using), salt, and black pepper. Simmer for 2 minutes, then remove from heat and stir in lemon juice and parsley.
- Coat crab legs: Place crab legs on a baking sheet lined with foil. Brush generously with the butter sauce, reserving some for serving.
- Bake: Cover loosely with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
- Broil for extra flavor: Remove the foil and broil on high for 2-3 minutes for a golden, slightly crispy finish.
- Serve and enjoy: Transfer to a serving platter, drizzle with extra butter sauce, and serve with lemon wedges. Enjoy with crusty bread or rice!
