Ingredients
1 lb chicken tenders
Salt & black pepper to taste
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp paprika
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
2 eggs, beaten
3/4 cup breadcrumbs (Panko or regular)
1/4 cup butter
4 cloves garlic, minced
1/3 cup honey
Pinch of chili flakes (optional)
Cooking spray or oil mist
Instructions
- Pat chicken tenders dry and season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
- Prepare a breading station with three bowls: flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs.
- Dredge each tender in flour, dip in eggs, then coat in breadcrumbs.
- Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C) and spray basket with oil.
- Arrange tenders in a single layer in the basket. Spray tops lightly with oil.
- Air fry for 10–12 minutes, flipping halfway, until golden and cooked through.
- While tenders cook, melt butter in a pan. Sauté garlic until fragrant.
- Add honey and chili flakes. Simmer sauce for 1–2 minutes and remove from heat.
- Toss cooked tenders in the warm sauce or brush on generously.
