Ingredients
4 slices of sandwich bread (white, sourdough, or brioche)
4 slices cheddar cheese (or substitute with American, mozzarella, or a blend)
2 tablespoons butter or mayonnaise
Instructions
- Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Spread butter or mayonnaise on one side of each bread slice.
- Layer two slices of cheese between two slices of bread, buttered sides facing out.
- Place sandwich in the air fryer basket.
- Air fry for 4-5 minutes, flip, and cook another 3-4 minutes until golden and crisp.
- Let rest for 1-2 minutes, then slice and serve.
