Air Fryer Cheesy Taco Bombs are savory, flaky pastry pockets loaded with seasoned taco meat, melty cheddar cheese, and colorful bell peppers. Perfectly crisped in the air fryer, they make an irresistible appetizer, party snack, or dinner-time hit for all ages.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (or ground turkey)
1 packet taco seasoning
1/4 cup water
1/2 cup diced red bell pepper
1/4 cup diced onions (optional)
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (plus more for topping)
1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8-count)
Cooking spray or melted butter (for brushing)
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, cook ground beef until browned and fully done. Drain excess grease.
- Stir in taco seasoning and 1/4 cup of water. Simmer until thickened.
- Add diced bell pepper and optional onions. Cook 2–3 more minutes. Remove from heat.
- Flatten each biscuit into a 4-inch circle.
- Spoon taco filling into the center, top with cheese, and fold dough over to seal into a ball.
- Lightly spray the air fryer basket. Place bombs seam-side down with space in between.
- Air fry at 350°F for 8–10 minutes until golden brown.
- In the last 2 minutes, top each bomb with extra cheese and finish cooking until melted.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
