Description

Crispy, cinnamon-sugar-coated apple sticks made easily in the air fryer! These Air Fryer Apple Fries are a sweet snack that’s light on oil but big on crunch. Perfect for dipping in caramel or yogurt, they’re an easy treat for kids and adults alike.


Ingredients

12 firm apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp)

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

2 large eggs

1 cup panko breadcrumbs

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Cooking spray


Instructions

1. Wash, core, and slice apples into 1/2-inch thick sticks. Peel if desired.

2. Set up a dredging station with three bowls: one for flour, one for beaten eggs, one for a mixture of panko, sugar, and cinnamon.

3. Dredge each apple stick in flour, then dip into egg wash, and finally coat with the cinnamon-sugar-panko mixture.

4. Preheat the air fryer to 375°F (190°C).

5. Place coated apple sticks in a single layer in the air fryer basket. Spray lightly with cooking spray.

6. Cook for 6–8 minutes or until golden and crispy.

7. Remove and serve warm with caramel, yogurt, or chocolate sauce.

Notes

For maximum crispiness, avoid overcrowding the air fryer basket.

Unpeeled apples offer extra texture, but peeling gives a softer bite.

Store leftovers in the fridge and reheat in the air fryer for 2–3 minutes to refresh crispness.
