Description

This Hot Chili Cream Cheese Dip is the ultimate party starter—layered with rich cream cheese, savory chili, and a blanket of melted cheddar, it’s spicy, creamy, and always a crowd favorite. Perfect for game days, potlucks, or when cravings strike.

Ingredients

8 oz cream cheese, softened

15 oz canned chili (with or without beans)

1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese

2 tbsp chopped jalapeños (optional)

Tortilla chips, for serving

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Let the cream cheese soften at room temperature.

2. Spread the softened cream cheese evenly in an oven-safe baking dish.

3. Pour the canned chili over the cream cheese layer and spread it evenly.

4. Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese generously over the top.

5. Add chopped jalapeños over the cheese if you want more heat.

6. Bake the dish in the oven for about 20 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

7. Carefully remove from oven with mitts and serve hot with tortilla chips.

Notes

For smoother spreading, beat the cream cheese slightly with a hand mixer before layering.

Want a smokier taste? Use chipotle chili or sprinkle smoked paprika over the top.

To save time, you can prep the layers a day ahead and bake when ready.
